[cobalt-users] SMTP Shutdown!

Hi

Had the message below sent to us automatically by the our RAQ3 this
evening.. Its the first time something like this has happened and I just
wondered if anyone knows if its something to worry about, or how to maybe
investigate the cause? It says about the load on the CPU but by the time I
had logged in (not lond after receiving the message) SMTP had restarted and
all lights (from the GUI menu) were green??

The SMTP (mail) server appears to be down.  The mail server may shut itself
down temporarily under extreme load, so you should also check the CPU load
on the server.  If the load does not appear to be the problem, try turning
mail service off and then on within the Cobalt server Control Panel to see
if
this corrects the problem.  If not, try rebooting the server itself.  If
this
still does not correct the problem, contact Cobalt Technical Support.
