Does anyone have detailed instructions for getting Horde/IMP up & running
on a RaQ4? I searched the archives for 2001 and saw lots of activity on
this, but could not find detailed instructions....
Let's see if I understand the requirements. In order to use horde/imp one
must have the following installed first:
apache 1.3.12 or later
php 3.0.x or later
Either MySQL
or PostgreSQL
With those prereq's in place then just untar the horde & imp tarballs into
your webroot directory.
Miscellaneous ?'s:
* What are the pros/cons of downloading the latest tarball from apache &
doing the configure/make/make install thing vs getting an rpm?
* That last step of untarring horde/imp: Do I have to do this into each
virtual site's webroot? Or just the <DocumentRoot> specified (e.g.
/etc/httpd/html) in the httpd.conf file?
* Any specific version of either MySQL or PostgreSQL to stick with or avoid?
* Any preference for MySQL vs. PostgreSQL?
Any other suggestions/comments/help would be greatly appreciated!
TIA,
Mike
