Carrie, Jeff Lasman posted a pointer a few weeks back to the majordomo
instructions. the whole thing can be configured over email.
it's a bit corny, like, you send a command asking for the current config.
you copy and paste the config into a new message, tweak the settings and
press send. majordomo then complains about illegal commands and you go back
and do it again, trimming comments in the config that go past where your
email client wraps the comments, causing errors. then you send it off and
it sets the commands as you set them up.
it was reasonably straight forward and rather full-featured, but i wouldn't
wish it on a nervous user!
i'm tempted to look at mailman. time to learn some python.
