[cobalt-users] 'Real' Setup Instructions

Greetings,

Given the recent onslaught of RaQ hacking and sometimes naiveté of new
administrators I would like to add a Setup / Security section to
www.raqresources.com

When a new server comes out of the box what patches and software should be
installed and what prudent security measures should be taken.

Security Updates
OS Upgrades
SSH
Mail Precautions
Telnet Access
Port Sentry / Log checker
Open Ports
Backup / Restore Issues
Restore CD's

And anything else you think a newbie should know about before sending his
server out into the cold harsh world.
