Hi,
has anyone ever broken PHP on the Raq4 by trying to install GDLib or PNG? I
was actually trying to upgrade Webalizer to version 2.x, that worked fine
but it took my web server out. I disabled the bit that loads PHP4 in
httpd.conf and now web works fine but no PHP.
Apparently it's some sort of problem with the apache PHP module, and
possibly some sort of incompatibility. I've decided I should try
re-compiling Apache and PHP, but has anyone got any advice as to the best
approach to fix this problem? I've seen lots of examples of people having
this problem but no explicit fixes, although I grabbed a copy of the
recently posted FAQ on recompiling Apache/PHP for Raq3.
Bit of a steep learning curve considering I never compiled anything until
today : )
