Well, i hope noone was inferring that i meant that the rest of the world
was not entitled to the use of Generic TLD, or that the us had any
particular claim on them... This was no where near the effect i expected
from that post -/
My only point was an example of why blocking access to a country TLD was
pointless...
I would note that rfc920 described .com before there was any non-us
internet, and it wasn't until 1994 (rfc1591) that anyone actually came
out and stated that 'yes, these are/were for anyone'
(some of us have been around that long -)
