Probably because this is a mailing list for us to talk amongst ourselves.
Cobalt didn't have to run a mailing list for us but they did.  That
doesn't obligate them to use it as a free support channel.  alex at cobalt
dot com is probably someone who wants to help us out or comment from time
to time in his spare time.  I seriously doubt he's there to answer our
questions full time.  Cobalt employees on this list have been berated in
the past for not being attentive enough and they've just left, never to
post again.

If it's such an issue, with mailing list problems that people are
complaining about, and the fact that Coablt hosting a list implies that
they'd be answering questions, maybe we should all take the mailing list
elsewhere such as groups.yahoo.com.

Otherwise we should be thankful for what we have unless we're going to do
something about it.
