[cobalt-users] recover root (not admin!) password

Hello there,
I've just installed my Qube3, and now I needed to su root, an dguess what,
the admin password doesn't work.

su to admin, works
changing password for admin, works
resetting admin password, and setting a new one, works.

But still, I'm unable to become root.

I've seen this issue being raised on this list from time to time, but no
answers, no entry in the FAQ that works..

Anybody recovered from this?

I guess it is now time to attach a console, or use the RecoverCD, but I'd
really like to know what works, and what would be just a waste of time, I
got the cobalt server not because I cannot setup a server from scratch,
but because I do not have the time to.
