Hi Vijay,

makemap hash /etc/virtusertable.db < /etc/virtusertable


Here is my handy and simple perl script to up date the virtusertable.
Saved it under /usr/local/bin as newvirt (or any of your choice) 
Then as a root user simply execute the command: 
newvirt

#! /usr/bin/perl 
system("makemap hash /etc/virtusertable.db < /etc/virtusertable"); 
exit;
