Hi,
Have a hacked Raq3 that I need to do a restore on. I've tried downloading
the .iso image but can't get it to boot. Not sure what lame thing I'm doing
wrong but hope someone can put me on track.
Downloaded and decompressed the RaQ3-022401.iso.tar.gz file so that I have a
RaQ3-022401.iso file.
Do I need to do anything else with this file before it goes onto a CD? I've
failed in attempts to create a bootable CD on both Win & Mac systems. Should
this be one large file that gets read on boot?
Tried this:
Mac: Created an ISO 9660 CD with the RaQ3-022401.iso file on it. Single
session, closed disc.
Win: Used this as an ISO image file with SonyHotBurn. Create ISO CD using
exsisting .iso image (the RaQ3-022401.iso file) Single session, closed
disc.
Neither will boot. Have a box that I run RH linux on and can boot from RH
cd's, no problem.
Thanks to any that can answer for those unskilled at this like myself. Seems
like Raq boxes have big red targets on them these days.
Best, .. David
