Amen. As a matter of fact, rarely (ever?) have I found someone who wants
to receive mail joe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx joe@xxxxxxxxxx should be the
default. This happens also on my Qube, where Joe gets email (according
to the default webpages) at joe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx which is annoying as
hell. I've spent hours searching (so far without success) for a way to
change everything so the default mail address is @domain.com (like it is
*everywhere* else).

Thank you! With utter lack of humility, I think you refer to my post on
this, which is re-copied here for Cobalt's benefit. By the way, this
should *not* apply only to RaQ's; Qubes too can setup multiple domains
(mine runs 25 or so, all related to my company) and should use this
interface too.

I don't know what other people feel, but it drives me nuts to add a new
domain record by record (and with about 10 clicks per record, each
record takes up to a minute total) when 99% of the domains I add (about
40 so far) have exactly the same recordset.

Idea: why not make the setup for a new domain's DNS like this?

===========================================================

Domain: [_____________________]

[x]        domain.com        A       [_______________]
[x]    ns1.domain.com        A       [_______________]
[x]    ns2.domain.com        A       [_______________]
[x]    ftp.domain.com        A       [_______________]
[x]    www.domain.com        A       [_______________]
[x]   smtp.domain.com        A       [_______________]
[x]    pop.domain.com        A       [_______________]
[x]   imap.domain.com        A       [_______________]
[x] secure.domain.com        A       [_______________]
[x]        domain.com      MX 10      smtp.domain.com
[x]        domain.com      MX 20    backup.domain.com

               /------\             /--------\
               |  OK  |             | Cancel |
               \------/             \--------/

===========================================================

[x] represents a checkbox and [_____] a textbox. This way, setup takes
just the following steps:

* Enter domain name.
* All boxes selected by default; uncheck those I don't want.
* Triple-check carefully.
* Hit OK.

Now, it's time to go back to the screen you already have and make
individual additions or changes if I need them. However, you've already
saved the sysadmin about 10 minutes of work in the GUI.
