How much data are we talking about?

The built-in backup process will download a single backup file (via your
browser) AFTER it has created it on the RaQ4r hard disk first. It doesn't
do individual files ... you have selected a full server backup so your RaQ4r
is busy compacting your whole system into a tar file. Chances are your
browser will timeout BEFORE the backup file is ready to transfer.
IMHO although the built-in backup capability technically works (restore is a
completely different story), in practice or real world situations it doesn't
work.
If you want to use something which exists on your RaQ4r you should
investigate the third party backup clients ... Legato and Arkeia.
Alternatively there are other commercial clients available, but you will
have to install them yourself.
My personal favourite is not commercially available yet, so if you are brave
you could try their beta version. Dantz Retrospect Backup runs on Windows
and MacOS and they are working on a Linux client. For information on the
Linux client contact;
