First, for the newbies here who might not be aware of it's existentence
cobalt-announce@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is a one-way announcement list of the latest
pkg releases. Make sure you're subscribed to it. 

Second..if one has already patched via rpm should the final pkg version also
be installed?
