Figured I would give this a try, some of my clients want a chat.
Kaffe Java went in just fine (as far as I can tell).
The SpanielChat - umm.... (duh...)
1. It says to set my classpath to where java.exe is. (I can't find a
java.exe on the system and can't find a reference to classpath in httpd.conf
or srm.conf - probably looking in the wrong place, right?)
2. Start the chat server (Of course this doesn't work because I don't have
my classpath set.)
3. Load all the files here and there (did that)
4. Open chat.html in your browser (Well, there are no <applet> tags in
chat.html - just plain html code... did they forget something or am I
missing something somewhere?)
If you'd share some tips on how you installed this, I'd be grateful.. :)
And if you've got a copy of chat.html that actually has the applet tags in
it that you can send over my way? (ravencarrie@xxxxxxxx)
If you don't have the time, don't worry about it, I know this isn't
'Balt-related so I understand. :)
