I retract that. I have the same problem and cant delete the file, However
doing a locate .s.PGSQL.5432 does so /home/tmp

but a ls -a doenst show the file and rm returns no such file.

Any other Ideas from anyone. Is this a possible attack.

Here is the fix, go to /home/tmp and delete the .s.PGSQL.#### then restart

Hi there,

I've just applied the above patch on my RAQ4i and when the system
restarted was told that there had been an internal conguration error.  I
am now getting an email every 15 minutes telling me that POSTGRES can not
be started.

I've tried starting this manually but get :-

        Shutting down PostgresSQL : not running!
        Setting up PostgresSQL : failed!

I've looked in the archives and found a message from yesterday about thin
on a RAQ3 but can't see a reply anywhere.

Does anyone have any ideas - A message every 15 minutes is going to drive
me mad....
