RE: [cobalt-users] DNS Virtual Domain Question

Chris
If you have multiple IP addresses on one IP and one of the domains has a
reverse record then it will always take precidence. Make sure that no entry
exists in the reverse table for any zone on the IP address you are using.

I tend to use A records rather than CNAME to multihome domains.

Subject: [cobalt-users] DNS Virtual Domain Question

I have multiple virtual domains setup on one IP address.

I have a customer who has two sites, one live and just sitting on the other
domain. Neither one of them are set as the first site on the IP address.
When I put in a CNAME and point the second domain to the first, it always
goes to the first domain on the IP address which is not either one of the
two.

Can anyone provide any info on how I can get this working?

Thanks
-chris
