Hi Wayne !
The GUI is not really a big hole. It depends on how you use it.
It would be a good idea to read about ssl in the manual and then
install yourself a self signed certificate (takes 10 minutes or so),
or buy a real one and have your GUI run through ssl. This way
everything you type or setup is encrypted on the way.
