[cobalt-users] Postgresql HELP~HELP~HELP~

I have try installed the latest version of Postgresql into my cobalt RaQ4r 
but then my cobalt web admin cannot work properly. Also, i keep receiving 
the email "postgresql is down and cannot be restarted". I tried to 
uninstall the new version and install the old version postgresql from the 
Cobalt RestoreCD but problem presist. Also, the ChiliASP software is not 
working properly. I have uninstalled the JRE-1.2-V2 and ChiliASP but i 
cannot re-install again. It said "libpq.so.2.0" cannot be find when i 
install ChiliASP. Also, "libodbc" and "libodbcinst" cannot be found when i 
try to install JRE-1.2-V2. Is that i overwrite some important library file 
for the web access ? The cobalt email service still working normally. Is 
there anyway to fix it without running the RESTORE SOFTWARE ??? If i really 
need to run the RESTORE CD, can i keep all sites setting and user 
email/files by backing them up using TAR ? . Which directories i have to 
back up ? Urgent Pls. THXxxxxxxxxx
