Gregory,
I had a problem with a faulty install of one of the cobalt patches that was
corrupt from a bad download session. I did not realize it was corrupt and
installed it. It did not complete, but did update the database and I could
not get a good copy to reinstall.
I went to /var/lib/cobalt and removed the associated md5lst file and then
was able to reinstall over the top. I'm not sure of what sort of problems
this could possibly cause, but it worked for me.
