Well it's happened again after applying some patches from the cobalt site
(including the bind upgrade) and rebooting the server. I have lost my sites
in the GUI as the Postgresql server is down and won't restart:
If I run:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/postgresql restart
I get:
Shutting down PostgreSQL: ERROR!
Setting up PostgreSQL: FATAL: StreamServerPort: bind() failed: Permission
denied
Is another postmaster already running on that port?
If not, remove socket node (/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5583) and retry.
/usr/bin/postmaster: cannot create UNIX stream port

Any ideas anyone? I have tried looking for the file to delete it but can't
find it.
