So the customers who purchased Qube 2's, and Raq's under a year ago, before
the slew of new products should buy new gear instead of expecting support on
what they purchased ? Is that what you are stating ? If so, do you believe
that train of thought would be an encouragement to those us on the "insert
shaft here" end, to purchase more Cobalt products with the possibility of
getting it again ?
I realize no product goes on forever but, based on my prior experience, the
End of Life (EOL) on a product is normally longer than one year.
Cobalt read our statements as this: We the customers want to use your
products. We want the simplicity you promise without the time consuming
hassles. We are NOT the enemy. We are your PAYCHECK.
What your short-sightedness is creating is a self-taught group of people who
will eventually build their own boxes (and toss yours) which they can keep
updated (read: less than 3 weeks late on patches) without incurring high
liability exposure.
