Hi,
I have now a Win network with a Windows 2000 Advanced Server as domain
server. We are using this win2k machine as file, web and domain server.
Now we have a Cobalt Qube3 and I want to install this qube as VPN
gateway, file and domain server for our network and I also want to use
old win2k machine as web server for developers so I need file sharing
for this new qube oriented network.
I just created DHCP client settings on my Qube as 10.10.10.0 C class
network, start fiel sharing for win clients, create user for one of my
win clients and connect to this new DHCP based network
(10.10.10.100-10.10.10.254) with one of my win clients.
I also define a secondary IP for my old Win2k server as 10.10.10.20
Internet is working but file sharing for my old domain server and new
qube file sharing is not working.
So how can I organize new structure to have a one domain server as Qube,
2 file server as Qube and Win2k ?
Net -> Router -> Qube3 -----> Win2k Server
|
--------> Windows Clients (9.x & Win2k Pro)
- Qube 3 : Domain, DHCP, File, DNS server and firewall
- Win2k Server : File, web server
Thanks for your replies.
