OK, but can you go from say, OS-1.0 to OS-3.0 skipping 2.0-all & patches?

eg: does say OS-3.0-all-system also include OS-1.0 patches that aren't
otherwise obsoleted ...?? (ignoring that you probably can't be pre-1.0-)

(This really does need a note on the download page, it's not as obvious as
one might hope, this question gets asked at least twice a month ;)
