I don't think the question is clear.
* Are you concerned about loading pages from somewhere else into your
browser at 5KBps?
* Are you concerned about other people loading your webpages into their
browser at 5BKps?
* How many browser sessions do you have downloading simultaneously?
* What other traffic is running on the network?
* What is your link speed? DSL what? Again, is this your hosting link or
your browsing link?
* Can you find out what the total traffic on your link is? Does your ISP
run MRTG or some other solution that will tell you the traffic patterns?
Gotta have more detail.
