[cobalt-users] raq2 + new updates + samba problem

Hi all,

After installing the newest raq 2 updates, I am no longer
able to browse the network on my Windows 98 PC.

If I reboot the PC without being connected to the Raq, I can
see my PC in network neighborhood, but when the PC and raq2
are connected I only see the "Entire Network" Icon and I
always get "Unable to browse the network. The Network is
busy" error when I try to open it.

The raq is working fine (as far as anyone has reported) as a
web and mail server and for other network services, but
samba SEEMS to have gone bye bye... even though
/etc/rc.d/init.d/smb status reports that both smbd and nmbd
are running.

I have already re-installed the TCP/IP Drivers, configured
Windows for Plain Text Passwords, set up the group and
identities on the windows side, verified smb.conf, restarted
samba, checked the STATUS..LCK was still there... uh, and
all the usual stuff I could think of.

IS there a samba error log anywhere or does anyone have any
idea what may be wrong, or where to begin looking?
