Zeffie,

It's quite simple. I'm happy to help the guy for free as I have time
available. But if he wants priority and is willing to pay, then I'm
certainly not going to turn down someone who *offers* to pay for a
service.

I have actively campaigned against people advertising services on this
list, and I think it's a Bad Thing (tm). Which is why I offered to help
him on a thread to this list, plus extra help separately, and then if he
felt my help was a determining factor then he could feel free to pay me
for what I would have done anyway.

I tried to be pretty clear on my point, and it sounds reasonable to me,
but I know some might disagree and I'm OK with their saying so. Hey, I
learn from interaction and feedback too... :)
