+I have downloaded the file RaQ4-All-Security-0.0.1-8061.pkg.
+>From cobalt site via web and ftp in asc format several times.
+
+But every time I trying to install it I getting "file interupted"
+or "invalid package"
For larger pkg files it's best to do as follows:
Telnet/SSH into your Raq.
cd /home/packages
wget
"ftp://ftp.cobalt.com/pub/packages/raq4/eng/RaQ4-All-Security-0.0.1-8061.pkg
"
Logout and got to GUI and you'll see that pkg in the 'loaded' text box.
Select the radio
button next to it and hit install. Much faster and you won't time out.
This particular package is 24MB.
Now if Sun could loan some of their rocket scientists to Cobalt I bet they
could whip
up a GUI interface with a neato button that says "PATCH ME NOW" in the time
it takes
6 Cobalt Product Managers to have a morning meeting. Take a look at
Debian...hmmm no
they wouldn't want do that since it would cut revenues. Diaster recovery is
a 'Professional
Services' $200/hr service. Us black-helicopter watchers might even start to
wonder.....
