Subject: cobalt list
Gerald,
Excuse for approaching off-list. I've got trouble with the server my usual
email acct is on, and it takes just ages to get an answer from Cobalt's
mailman for another subscription to take effect. Could you kindly post the
following message for me on the cobalt user-list? Sincerely, Per M Knutsen

I installed the recent .pkg BIND update for on a RaQ3
(RaQ3-All-Security-4.0.1-9353.pkg). Now, I get 'Host name lookup failure'
whenever I try to connect to anywhere else *from* the box. There are noe
problems accessing it.
Logs are literally littered with messages like (basically one for every
outbound message!):
Feb 9 15:01:48 ns1 sendmail[5805]: PAA05805: ruleset=check_mail,
arg1=<icnlist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, relay=[198.252.45.164], reject=451
<icnlist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>... Sender domain must resolve

BIND is all a big mystery to me. Can anyone please advice on what might have
happened here, and how to fix it?
