Compensation? Don't hold your breath. My opinion is that I don't think
Cobalt should or will be held liable. Other Linux servers are being hacked
everyday, not just the ones with the Sun-Cobalt name. Sun-Cobalt provides a
pretty decent product at a decent price. If you want to spend the extra to
make your RaQ/Cubes more safe (and you should) then that is your right and
the right of every RaQ/Cube owner.
One of our RaQ4s was hacked a few days ago. The liability for this hack
falls in our lap for not being more attentive to dangers that are
ever-present. And, I do, in fact, put 100% of the blame on the hacker(s).
