I bumped into this on a clients server not long ago. Do this at your
own risk, but I simply made a backup copy of the file - just in case
- and then I deleted it and restarted the server just to see what
would happen. A new proftpd-inetd file was created upon restarting
the server and we haven't seen the message since... again, do this
at your own risk but it did indeed work for me.
