Give it a shot, anyway...
First off, what machine do you have?

Which user? How did you change the password (GUI? Telnet?) Did you make
any other changes at the same time, or shortly before this?

If it doesn't respond to anything, there's no way to help. Try any of
the following commands from another machine:
telnet qube.ferrero.com 21
telnet qube.ferrero.com 25
telnet qube.ferrero.com 80
telnet qube.ferrero.com 110
telnet qube.ferrero.com 137,138,139
telnet qube.ferrero.com 143
I just want to see if *something* answers...
Have you used the pinhole in the back to reset the root password?
Do you have a backup of your data?
Do you have a Restore CD?

Does anyone know if the serial port can be connected to another PC via a
null-modem cable to act as a console?
