Hi.
With all this talk about dumping SSH1 in favor of SSH2,
I think it is important to note that there is much more
difference between the two protocols than a version number.
SSH1 is free for anyone to use anywhere. SSH2 is free for
NON-COMMERCIAL use. Please see the ssh licensing agreement
here: https://commerce.ssh.com/s/j5J4lvV01qyJtHar/0/6 for
further clarification.
The only way to upgrade to the v2 protocol and be free of
licensing restrictions is to use OpenSSH, available in many
distribution formats from many sources across the Internet.
