Hi All - was wondering if anyone has tried the DBMaker.com RDBMS on the
RaQ3/4 servers?
They have a free commercial license avail (until 2/28/01 anyway) and we are
thinking about giving it a try.
However, they have a huge pile of extensive docs (tons) and other related
downloads, we were wondering if this all of this is worth our time? (their
web site ain't the fastest thing on the planet)
Anyone out there using this software?
It looks very impressive, is SQL compliant, runs on Linux, has distributed
server DB (cool), transaction processing, backup/restore, lots of tools,
etc... and were wondering what your experience has been? It is reliable,
fast, easy to install and use, interfaces well from C/C++, etc...??????
Thanks for the input.
