Hi Guys,
I have a problem in the GUI for setting date and time on a Qube3 ... each
time I press save, it increments the date.
I discovered this because I was advised that email from the Qube3 was being
delivered in the future. I went to the GUI set the date back, pressed save
... no change. I repeated the exercise with the same result. It wasn't
until I set the date to the day before I wanted (i.e. yesterday) that it
saved the correct date (i.e. yesterday + 1 = today).
Further if you keep pressing save ... the date increments one day at a time.
I have not tried all combinations yet, but it is possible that the time zone
is involved. The east coast of Aust is +1000 ... it could be incrementing
the date because it is adding the time zone offset. This could be a reason
why the problem was not picked up in testing (i.e. time zone offset = 0000).
With additional testing I have found that if I leave the "NTP Server
Address" empty I get the date incrementing each time I save. If the "NTP
Server Address" is NOT empty I can't change the date or time via the GUI at
all.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour on a Qube3?
Cheers, Malcolm
