Hello all,
I've just done my first migration with the cmu, all I can say, is its
pretty nice. and for the most part, relatively painless, considering what
it does ;-)... We went from a Ra3 to a Raq3 with OS4 and all appropriate
updates, including pop_before_relay 1.3pre1. I have run into a few problems
though....
1) for a few user accounts (Not all of them), sendmail returns an error:
Feb 7 15:51:14 raq sendmail[21007]: f17KpEj21005:
to=<wally@>domainname.com delay=00:00:00, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=local,
pri=30127, dsn=5.0.0, stat=Can't create output
I've checked /var/spool/mail, the link is
lrwxrwxrwx 1 wally site22 41 Feb 7 15:50
/var/spool/mail/wally -> /home/sites/site22/../../spool/mail/wally
Identical to the rest in there, and in /home/spool/mail
-rw------- 1 wally site22 0 Feb 7 15:51 /home/spool/mail/wally
and again identical to the rest (granted ownerships and dir's will be
different)
This occurs for about 23 of nearly 282 users moved during the migration.
*I need to get this one taken care of ASAP*
2) Not really a problem but a pain, when Importing website, all the vsites
site web directories, became owned by the "admin" account, not the site
administrator appropriate for each site.
3) Again not really a problem but a pain, when imported, the import util,
did not save the siteXX relationships, causing me to have to go through
more than a few scripts, to change them to the new siteXX path.
All in all, I'm pretty happy with the way cmu works, not to mention the
very easy and straight forward info/manual on how to use it.
Thanks in advance!
