[cobalt-users] shared cgi library area

I set up an area for Perl libraries to be 'require'-d by my cgi scripts
in various sites.

I did this by setting the environmental variable PERL5LIB, so that the
area was included in the Perl Path.

Shortly after that the Cobalt OS (RaQ3i) refused any longer to serve cgi
scripts. I don't think that was the cause - we did something else as
well - so I didn't think of doing any tests on that. It's now
reinstalled, and I'm wondering whether or not to try the same thing
again.

Is there any sort of Cobaltish reason that adding to the Perl path with
the environmental variable could have done any harm?

Regards,

Ian.
