I am *not* gonna go and design my own server enclosure. That would cost
me several hours of my time, with which I have better things to do. I am
furthermore not going to start measuring where the screw holes and the
card slots have to go...
Current market price for a 4U rackmount box is about $150-200, depending
on bays and options and stuff. Current market price for a hot-swappable,
redundant power supply with two 250W-300W modules is about $200. I wish
quality stuff were cheaper, but that's what I find.
If you have any better sources, I'd love to hear about them.
