[cobalt-users] For anyone changing the IP of a production RaQ3

Today I had to change the IP address of a Raq3 (and all its domains) to an
entirely different network.

I was not suprised to find that after adjusting the network config via the
LCD panel and GUI for each domain that the raq3 would not respond to ping
and would pause for a long period while trying to connect via telnet and
would only eventually connect from a host on the same range.

A few greps later I found that this file was missed by the GUI/LCD changes -

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:0

I editted that and it worked fine. (Yes, this is a solution post not a
question one :)

Anyone having trouble after an IP change should edit this file. If anyone
has experienced other troubles after an IP change please email me offlist
(as I am not subscribed) so I can think about a good strategy for the rest
of the servers.

Cheers,
