[cobalt-users] dns - simply the basics to compare

Hello
i have a RAQ3 server with
ns1.mainsite.ext
ns2.mainsite.ext
now how can I configure
www.mainsite.ext in order to get the mainsite email services working fine?
could somebody kindly post the basic setup for this stuff so i can compare
with my one?
Infact  i still experience an annoying 'recursion' trouble when trying to
send a message to any user @ mainsite.ext

Note that when i send a message to another vsite the email stuff works fine.
I add that i have read almost all the cobalt list archives (searching
similar troubles) and tried to avoid any possible CNAME (as i found there)
but without success so far. Further, i have also read and read again the
Cobalt manual and the Cobalt tutorial for the dns stuff but while i could
get the vsites work fine, i still get the above email trouble for the main
site.
