Hi
I've done a search of the cobalt user archives and managed to find out
roughly what I can and can't do in the way of disaster recovery when my Raq4
eventually dies but some things remain unclear.
Firstly, If I make a backup of /etc/named.conf and /etc/named and restore
those files then do "/etc/rc.d/init.d/named restart" when I get the new
server up will that restore all the dns entries properly?
Also, is there a way to have the virtual sites recreated (I'm not talking
about the individual user data) including users and groups etc without
having to use that annoying web gui to create them all again individually?
I'd really appreciate any help anyone could provide as I defintely need to
get a proper disaster recovery solution going here.
Thanks.
Martin.
