[cobalt-users] Qube 1.5 Samba & NT 4 slow, howto install 2. NIC

Hello,

I am using two new Qube 1.5 as workgroup and intranetservers in small
offices, one network runs on netware 4.11 with 5 NT 4.0 SP6 clients, the
other on SuSE
6.4 Server with Win 98 clients, second one without any problems. Setup
worked well, still there is some eMail configuration to do, both srvs
running, but:

1.) NT clients need up to 1 Minute to get the Samba directories and
files (http performance is ok).

2.) I tried to install a second NIC 3Com Etherlink 3C905C TX as
discribed in knowledge-base, kernel is patched, and ... failed.

Does anybody know how to manage it?
