Hello,
I have received some emails at admin@xxxxxxxxxxx which
should have been sent to one of our virtual domains. they
were addressed to admin@xxxxxxxxx
When I went in to the virtusertable, my understanding was
that I needed to add a line in the custom section
admin@xxxxxxxx
then "makemap hash /etc/virtusertable < /etc/virtusertable"
however, and this is the "I'm REALLY STUPID" part, I noticed
that there was already a line in the generated section which
read "admin@xxxxxxxx admin", so, thinking I would be
clever, I simply changed the "admin" on this line to read
"fkime"
Of course, when I ran makemap, it responded:
"makemap: /etc/virtusertable.db: line 165: key
@www.kime.net: duplicate key"
and now, In my virtusertable, there is a section which
reads:
# Define Virtual Site default behavior (Do not change/remove
this line).
@www.kime.net error
In hindsight, it's pretty clear that this would not make the
required changes in the database, but at the time, it
sounded like a plan.
How do I get rid of the line which reads "@www.kime.net
error" (presumably because of the now duplicated key entry),
and how do I change the line in the generated section so
that admin@xxxxxxxx is NOT forwarded to the USER admin?
I alrady tried turning "Accept email" off and on, and
remaking the map.... how do you REALLY do it? Thanks!
