Re: Raq3 - OS update 4
It seems that after the update, and if you have NOT specified a "catch-all"
in the GUI, the virtusertable gets littered with lines like this:
# catch-all aliases
@www.tarren.co.uk error:nouser No such user here
This has set us back considerably, because we have customised the end of the
virtusertable with hundreds lines like this:
@www.tarren.co.uk %1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Basically so we can receive email at otherdomain.com without setting up
users on each site, and it sends the email to the appropriate account at
otherdomain.com
The new update conflicts with this very badly, failing to hash virtusertable
as there are now duplicate keys - and the GUI won't let me add a line like
the above!
If only the GUI would let me configure an alias of @www.tarren.co.uk (which
it does) and a fowarding address of %1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (which it WONT),
then all would be OK again.
HELP! Now every time I make a GUI change, I have to do major hand-edits on
virtusertable!
Regards,
Tarren.
