Just tried this..... Still the same error message. Is there more that
has to be done?
Any more ideas ? I suppose I could reinstall mysql and phpmyadmin but
even if that fixes the problem why was this file deleted from the /tmp
directory ? I think I saw something about a cron job that cleans the
tmp directory while I was searching the archives but I'm not sure if I
should stop that job or find a way to put the mysql.socks file somewhere
else. If someone has been throught this before please point me in the
right direction to find a solution for this. Keep in mind I'm very new
to linux too .
Thanks,
