And none of these things will keep your email program from inserting
extra carriage returns.

Your headers indicate you're using Microsoft Outlook.  If you can't find
information in the help files on how to turn off inserted carriage
returns, then you need to either find out how on your own, ask someone
who knows (try a Microsoft Outlook based list or newsgroup), or stop
using Microsoft Outlook, and use an email program for which you can
figure out how to not insert carriage returns.
