Ahem ...

As you are probably aware, there are plenty of
newsgroups/lists/websites/forums/guestbooks etc. that wouldn't just allow
this type of unnecessary communication, but positively endorse it. I'm sure
many more of the users on this list would prefer that this type of
conversation/thread continue elsewhere.
