Yes, do 1, 2 and 3... Then you need to go to the GUI and create at least one record for each zone.... This creates the zone and the first RaQ will send updates to the second RaQ for each zone (domain)... You also need to make sure that the first RaQ has the second RaQ listed as the secondary DNS.

Hi Gerald,
Sorry, I worded my question so poorly. I was referring to settup up a
secondary name server on a 2nd RAQ, not secondary dns for a domain. I'll try
again and hopefully do a better job of explaining...
I'm trying to properly configure the settings on a 2nd RAQ to handle
secondary name services..(Raq#1 does primary DNS, Raq#2 does secondary DNS
for Raq#1. All domains on both Raqs use the primary DNS on Raq#1.)
On the Raq#2, do I:
1. Enable DNS on it?
2. List the Raq#1 as the primary DNS?
3. List the Raq#2 as the secondary DNS?
Will this make the 2nd box a slave name server that will retrieve the DNS
information from the primary, or, do I need to manually enter records on the
2nd box for each domain's DNS handled on the primary?
Thanks for any help,
David
