[cobalt-users] Qube 3 - Proxy / Firewall - Need Help with Rules.

We purchased a Qube 3 primarily for e-mail, Web and FTP services for our
company. So far, it works fine except for the Qube proxy/firewall doesn't
allow our Intranet access to the Internet. Anyone trying to access the proxy
receives a message:

"Forbidden: You do not have permission to access the requested file on this
server."

Here are a few details:

Eth0: zzz.zzz.100.123 (Intranet only)
Eht1: yyy.yyy.243.124 (Internet only)

Web Caching is ENabled. (DNS, DHCP & SNMP are DISabled.)

E-mail works fine, Web services work fine. Admin can be accessed from the
Internet or the Intranet (which tells me that the unit is functioning under
acceptable parameters).

I've tried using the wizard for the Qube *2*, but they only provide rules
for Input and output - not fowarding.

The manual doesn't provide a whole lot of "real-life" situations/examples.

I've scanned the Cobalt knowledgeBase, cobalt-users list history, and FAQs,
but haven't discovered any clues. Tech support indicated that only the web
caching must be enabled and the other rules don't need to be set for basic
Web & FTP proxy.

I even resorted to setting up rule allowing all IPs, Ports and protocols,
but it still doesn't work?

Summary:
1) What rules need to be setup for basic Web and FTP proxy services?
2) Are there other settings I am overlooking?
3) Any FAQs, wizards or manuals that may be helpful?

Thanks in advance -

Rand
