Well it has been several time that the "Rebuild cd" will not work with non
cobalt equipment and that the "bios" in the cobalts are not "PC Bios"
compatable.  So if you did get the software onto a pc it would most likely
not boot.

What you can do is get a CD image form redhat and setup a redhat system...
Except for the gui all the software will be included in the CD and you can
then learn about "picking packages" and it is a start to the world of linux.
I'm constantly blowing mine up or should I say making it so messey that I
reinstall the whole thing just to make it clean and different in some way.

You can do this with those old computers and they will only need about 1.2
gig depending on the size of the installation you can do...

You can also make a single disk linux if you want to learn more about basic
linux process....
