RE: [cobalt-users] Reg: Mail server - time-out error

Dana

I have the same problem and have found that increasing the timeout setting
does not fix this problem. It usually connects after a few tries but it is
limited to a few computers. I have eliminated all the issues at the client
end and am wondering of there is anything that can be done on the Cobalt
Server end. Is there a way to prioritize user connections? Is there a way
to see the time out errors from the server end? Thanks

Have the users increase their timeout setting in Outlook to
something
around 1 minute. Just browse through the preferences in Outlook
and
you'll find it. (sorry, I'd give you the exact steps but I don't
run
Windows to often)
